Head over to TheCapitol.pn (Pn as in Panem), to sign up with Twitter and tweet the viral phrase. Nothing else to see or do besides that (just fuzzy imagery and mechanical noises). It’s possible this could be some kind of “which District are you in” sorting app, but we’ll see.
Also, that four tone melody that played at the end of the trailer (presumably Rue’s call) is available for free on iTunes in all of its 6 second, eerie glory.
This has the potential to be really cool! Also, just to clarify, this is separate from PanemOctober, and is officially from Lionsgate.
Hi, I was wondering if you would promote the twitter officialCapitol. It's a twitter of a girl who lives in the Capitol as if the 74th hunger games was about to happen, and I think it's really awesome and people would really enjoy reading it. She's not a big fan of the HG as it kills and she's very aware of the real danger. It would be really amazing if you could. thank you so much!
Hello, I was wondering if you could please promote the-capitol.tumblr(dot)com. Maybe if you could make a post or something so your followers will know about us. Me and ifiwerekingoftheworld have teamed up to make a tumblr hunger games. We are hoping that we will reach the entire fandom about these games because we would like everybody who wants to participate to participate and everyone who wants to tune in to tune in. Please just message me back with a yes or no and thank you either way for being a great supporter of the Hunger Games and our fandom :).
I feel bad for the dude. It must suck having to watch your best friend go through the games and hook up with some guy knowing you were too late in telling her you liked her romantically. He was just really….angry and sometimes a little selfish. But then again, who isn’t? The point is that once Katniss came out of the first games, they couldn’t have a complete understanding anymore. Naturally, Katniss became a different person, which was no ones fault. I wish they had stayed friends because I did like Katniss and Gale that way. But given the kind of person Gale was, I don’t think he could bear being around Katniss or District 12 after all that happened.
As for Johanna, I love her. She is kick ass. She’s got attitude, and can occasionally be hilarious. We really start to feel for her in catching fire when she says, “There’s no one else I love”. I don’t know if that’s the exact quote, but you know what I mean. She too has had suffering in her past and has no one else. I love her and Katniss. I hope after Mockingjay they became besties. Katniss treated her as a friend, such as giving her something to keep in her drawer, and I loved that Katniss was able to be a friend to her. Johanna is one of my favorites.
To celebrate our 20th episode of Fireside Chat (and Jennifer Lawrence’s birthday), we bring you Round 2 in our Ultimate “Team Peeta vs. Team Gale vs. Team Katniss” Showdown. This time, we take a close look at the concept of “teams” and why it’s okay to acknowledge the presence of a love triangle in The Hunger Games. Supporters of Peeta and Gale go head to head and explain why their preferred District 12 boy is the best fit for Katniss. We also ask a question that not many people dare to ask: Is Katniss what’s best for Peeta? Additionally, proponents of Team Katniss join the fray and argue that this is one heroine who doesn’t need a hero.
“Kids are physical creatures, and they’re not stupid. They know all about violence and power and raw emotions. What’s really scary is when adults pretend that such things don’t exist.”—Lev Grossman, in his review of The Hunger Games (via laikacomehome)
