Lyndsy Fonseca as Katniss?

I think she’s got the look. She can act too. I would not be opposed to this casting.

LOL poor Gale.

I totally felt the need to defend Peeta from people who say he’s boring. XD

He’s awesome, that is all.

30 Day Challenge

Day 2: Your Least Favorite Character.

For me, this would have to be President Coin. She rubbed me the wrong way right from the beginning. She hates Katniss, throws the terms of Katniss’ Mockingjay status in her face (threatening to dishonor the terms if she steps out of line), and proposes another Hunger Games. These are just a few of the things she does that made me wish for her demise. I was so ecstatic when Katniss killed her. It needed to happen. There was no place for her in that world the minute she called for another Hunger Games.

That being said, I find it interesting that although Snow is the enemy in the books, Collins managed to successfully integrate two different kinds of evil: The capitol and the rebels (the lesser of the two). The story wasn’t about the rebel’s side, it was about Katniss’ side.

It seems like such a small exchange at first, until we see how much it helps Peeta achieve his grip on reality. Love it.
